As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a contract logistics location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support loss-prevention efforts. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading docks, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Monitor and patrol a contract logistics location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
  • Support loss-prevention efforts.
  • Communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
  • Document observations using a computer or tablet.
