About The Position

As a Security Officer Theft Deterrence in BEVERLY HILLS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to guests and team members. You will support loss prevention efforts, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a luxury retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a welcoming luxury shopping environment while helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.
