About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Watch in Pearl City, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity to every shift while helping promote a secure, welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at transit stations, platforms, and surrounding public access areas.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout rail facilities, entrances, parking areas, pedestrian walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors and commuters, and document security-related activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
