As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior or conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, student-related disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to school administrators, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
