Requirements

Must possess a New York state Security Guard license
Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain customer goodwill.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

Enforce gaming rules and regulations of the NYC Gaming Commission.
Patrol the facilities, pedestrian and mobile patrol; provide security for special functions.
Drive a motorized vehicle when needed
Enforce all department, unit and company policies and procedures, including alcohol service protocols.
Observe and report incidents, procedural violations and illegal activity.
Fill out departmental log forms, verify all paperwork is complete and turned in at end of shift.
Assist with fires, wind storms, floods, blizzstorms, evacuations, and other emergencies as directed.
