DSI is growing—and we're hiring! We are currently seeking a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer for a professional office building in Tampa, FL. This position is ideal for dependable, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment. As an Overnight Security Officer, you will conduct both indoor and outdoor patrols, monitor the property for safety and security concerns, secure the facility, and provide a visible security presence throughout the night.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Florida Class D Security License, or the ability to obtain one before employment.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Basic computer proficiency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform outdoor patrols in varying weather conditions.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine interior and exterior security patrols throughout the property.
Walk multiple floors and climb stairs during patrols.
Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
Secure doors, gates, and common areas.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and unusual situations.
Follow all DSI policies, client procedures, and post orders.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
