About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Financial Facility in Aurora, Colorado. In this unarmed patrol role at a financial institution, the officer helps safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. The officer provides professional customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and clients while supporting site procedures and the company’s people-first culture.

This is a full-time position paying $24.85 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
