About The Position

As a part-time Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service in a welcoming environment. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
