About The Position

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is seeking a Security Officer to join their team for the busy Summer Season. In this role, you will have the opportunity to explore the property and interact with guests and co-workers. The security team is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members through loss prevention, patrols, and safety and security initiatives. Security Officers use their expertise to ensure the environment is free from hazards and that security measures are in place. This is a service-oriented position focused on creating memorable experiences for guests.

Requirements

• Experience in a hotel or security position
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Open schedule with availability to work all shifts (AM, PM and Overnight) including weekends and Holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight
