Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with location protocols.
Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating clearly with property management and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related issues and site needs.
