Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support order at the location by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, following established reporting procedures, and assisting with incident response and/or evacuation direction when needed.
