About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution in Monticello, New York. The officer will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role offers a schedule that may be supplemented by claiming additional shifts through the company's Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and observe activity within and around the location, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
