As a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying access permissions and assisting with visitor and/or vendor check-in procedures as directed by the location.
• Support security-related operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear communication, and coordinating with local responders and/or property management when needed.
