Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting conditions that could impact operations or access control.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Support a professional environment within an aerospace and defense location by following post orders, reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns, and assisting with routine site operations when appropriate.
