Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help support screening operations, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help identify security-related concerns. Requirements

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.
Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity, incidents, and/or policy concerns in a clear and timely manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions related to logistics and distribution operations.
