About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a retail distribution location in Dunn, North Carolina. The unarmed patrol driver will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and pays $15.91 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may also be required before employment. Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic at the retail distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, perimeter, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Observe loading docks, trailer areas, and employee entrances to help maintain orderly operations, while providing professional communication and support to authorized personnel.
