As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, data and equipment spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; follow emergency response procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
