Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or retrieve access badges in accordance with established procedures.
  • Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and packages as directed, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and documenting observations.
