As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, riders, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, document daily activities and/or incidents, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior through appropriate channels.
  • Support crowd management and orderly movement of passengers during busy periods, service disruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations in accordance with post instructions.
