Job Description Now Interviewing for Full Time Security Officers! Working in conjunction with a Metropolitan Transit Task Force and our client security teams. MetroLink security professionals provide safety and security of riders on the transit light rail system, station platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Customer service skills are a high priority. This is an outdoor posted position. Duties will include post security until relieved.

Requirements

1 year Security Experience
Computer Literacy
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Ability to Lift 20+ Pounds
Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and activity within assigned areas, assist with directing foot traffic and/or visitors, and support compliance with location rules and post instructions.
