As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Detail in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers and staff. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and access concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
