About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and promptly documenting observations.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
