As a Security Officer Driver Entry Control in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry activity, verify badges and credentials, perform routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and team members. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and documenting deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Monitor gates, docks, and other restricted areas to help support authorized access and help to discourage unauthorized entry.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, trailer yards, and shipping and receiving areas.
