As a Security Officer - PT Weekday in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a busy food and beverage location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service, remain visible, and communicate clearly while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, screening activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support orderly entry, exit, and movement throughout the location.
