About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a School in Everett MA. As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal protocols.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant observations to school representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
