About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
