This primarily driving role includes conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
  • Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
