You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
