Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
