About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The role preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position requires a valid driver's license, excellent customer service skills, successful completion of a drug screen and background check, and the ability to meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal security licensing requirements.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
No experience is necessary; training is provided.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
