About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a retail shopping location in Kissimmee, Florida. The role involves driving patrols and requires a valid driver’s license. The officer helps safeguard tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, monitoring activity, responding to concerns and incidents, and providing customer service. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.72 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security procedures and site policies, and assisting with emergency response when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, storefronts, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
