About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to protect an airport’s exterior perimeter. The officer will safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and—when appropriate—emergency response activities. The role involves responding calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $18.53 per hour. Candidates must have at least three years of security experience, a bachelor’s degree, or prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience. Minimum requirements also include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and having a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience. Background and drug screening are conditions of employment. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
