About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver First Aid in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and contribute to a welcoming environment while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
