As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support screening operations, monitor activity, and assist with access and entry procedures. This role offers the chance to stay active, interact with people, and provide strong customer service while helping with security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen associates, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, damaged barriers, and/or other security-related issues.
