As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This unarmed patrol role blends customer service and communication with routine site rounds, working as part of a team that leads with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including the warehouse floor, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic routes for security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding incidents and/or operational disruptions.
