As a Security Officer Full Time - Site Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and site conditions in accordance with established procedures; maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with access-related inquiries, and escalating unusual activity through established reporting channels.
