About The Position
As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Reporting in White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transportation facilities, platforms, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, observe activity for unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns, hazards, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with maintaining orderly operations at assigned locations by providing directions, supporting access-control procedures, and documenting incidents and daily activities.
