As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a contract logistics location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and report concerns to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
