As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
  • Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
