Weekend Security Officer
About The Position
Securitas is seeking a Weekend Security Officer to join their Security Team. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of clients' property and personnel by observing and reporting activities and incidents. The position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to complete patrols, and proficiency with technology. While prior security or customer service experience is preferred, no experience is necessary as training will be provided. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Security Officers often provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. Requirements
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to complete patrols
- Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer)
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Prior security/customer service experience preferred
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role
Responsibilities
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Provides for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Completes patrols.
- Actively monitors the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
- Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
