Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Observe loading and receiving operations for compliance with site access procedures and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
