As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications, internet navigation, and the ability to learn new technologies as required by the job.
• Prior customer service experience. This experience should reflect the ability to interact positively with customers, resolve issues, and provide assistance in a professional manner.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, operational changes, and incident follow-up.
