About The Position

The Security Officer forms part of the Security Team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This department establishes, promotes and maintains the Hotel’s security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day. The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

Requirements

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

• CPR, first aid and fire prevention

Responsibilities

• Control the access and egress to and from areas of the Hotel and Residences which are under Four Seasons supervision.
• Protecting company assets from theft, fire, damage and assisting in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all persons in the location.
• Actively participate in the day to day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property.
• Patrol the interior and exterior of the hotel and confront any situations or persons that require investigation.
• Handle and document accidents and any questionable individuals on the premises.
• Implement all policies, procedures and instructions regarding security and safety.
• Assist in implementing preventive safety and security programs.
• Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities and insurance requirements. And in documenting such activities remain objective, and write comprehensive reports.
