About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge for a financial institution location in Chandler, Arizona. The role provides a welcoming front-desk presence while helping safeguard the facility. The officer manages visitor access, monitors entry activity, communicates professionally with employees, customers, and visitors, and responds to security-related concerns. The position pays $24.00 per hour and is scheduled Mondays and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and customers while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
Monitor facility access, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and courteously to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following site-specific protocols.
Facilitate communication between visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor.
