As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Access in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support access control and maintain a visible presence while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify authorization for personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
  • Identify and promptly report unusual activity, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and security-related concerns; complete accurate activity and incident reports.
