As a Security Officer Morning Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor site access, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report incidents, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
