As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and visitor access procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
