Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post orders and assisting with credential checks, visitor processing, and related security-related procedures.
Support daily operations by maintaining awareness of site activity, communicating clearly with staff and/or supervisors, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related matters.
