That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Lake Geneva, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six (6) month commitment. In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations, noting security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and community activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, disturbances, and/or property-related issues while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with residents, visitors, and/or local responders, and completing required reports related to daily activities and incidents.
