As a Security Officer Full Time Shipping Center in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, document observations using computer or tablet technology, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help maintain orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic flow at entry and exit points while providing professional assistance and directions.
