As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service while conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 19 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access to facilities, restricted areas, and designated entry points by verifying credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain accurate access-related logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
